Mr. Gene Border from the Lima Red Cross will come to the K of C Hall for CPR training. We'll have the training immediately after the March business meeting on March 11, 2019.

This is a "hands only" CPR training (no mouth to mouth), and will not result in any certificate because of the amount of time that we'll have. If you want to receive a certificate, we'll have to look into what it takes.

This training will teach how to use chest compression to keep blood flowing in the event of a heart failure. This training is available to members, spouses, and widows of deceased members.

Why not come out? If we are fortunate, we'll never need the training, but you might be able to save someone's life.

The next person to need CPR might be you, or me! Having people around who know have had training just makes sense.

I do need to know how many people will be here for the training so Gene can be prepared. We have to limit the session to 20 people, so contact me as soon as possible. Hopefully, we'll have to schedule another session for those who can't get into this one.

If you have questions or want to make a reservation, send Tom Odenweller an email to, or call me at 419 230-2893, or stop out at the Hall on Thursday evenings.
